Suspense

SuspenseSuspense has always been a lukewarm show in my heart. Some of the shows brought me to white knuckle terror while others were just hokey or downright silly. Still, the show made for a great vehicle at the time, allowing actors such as Jack Benny or Lucille Ball preform roles that were outside their typical characters. I tend to go for the straight weird or horror stories, but there are a few humorous stories as well. Check out "The Man Who Thought He Was Edward G. Robinson" to see what I mean.

Suspense also happens to herald the unfortunate distinction along with Yours Truly, Johnny Dollar to be the last shows of the "Golden Age of Radio".
