Hall of Creeps: He Who Follows Me

Hall of FantasyI don’t know whether I like this episode, or I hate this episode, but one thing is for certain; it kind of disturbs me. It’s not that the episode is outright scary. Actually, quite the contrary, it has a high cheese content. It’s just the premise that gives me the willies. In it, a young couple stumble into a forbidden tomb. They don’t desecrate it or do anything wrong. They just open a door that should have been left shut. Enraged by their presence, the spirit of the tomb follows the couple all over the world, driving them mad. No matter what they do, they cannot shake that creeping presence until, well … I won’t ruin the ending. Just do yourself a favor … if a tomb has a “Do not Distrub” sign hanging on it, you’d do yourself a favor to heed it.

This is one of my absolute favorites of all time though I’ll never understand why it ended the way it did. The trespassers were dealt with, why did ol’ Mr. T hang around waiting for the poor innocent friend?
